Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- University degree in IT, software.
- Strong knowledge of Java with 3+ years work experience (Swing, SWT).
- Skilled in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and XML technologies.
- Understanding of design, algorithms, data structures and optimization techniques.
- Experience using an IDE (ideally Eclipse) and using a source-code-control tool (CVS, SVN, etc.).
- Strong communication skills.
- Very good English skills.
Responsibilities:
The job involves developing (programming and designing) Java classes (GUI and non GUI) for projects in the XML technologies field. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and software development as he will be involved in the full life cycle of the software development process. We use an XP-style development process hence any agile experience (including test driven development, pair programming, refactoring and continuous integration) is a plus.
