IXIA Romania is looking for:

1) Java Developer

Job Location: Bucharest

Position level: junior, middle, senior

We are searching Java backend and middleware developers for one of our top projects in the NVS (Network visibility Solutions) department.

Project description:

Ixia Fabric Controller (IFC) project – manage and configure multiple NTO systems from one single pane of glass.
Java and Object-Oriented software design skills required
Technologies involved: web application tools such as: XML, HTTP server, HTML, REST and Sencha ExtJS

2) Junior Python Developer

Position Overview & Responsibilities:

This is a great opportunity for a Python Developer who wants to work in a friendly environment with cutting edge technologies.

Position level: all levels (junior, middle and senior)

We are currently looking for a skilled engineer to help us build a product addressing the growing need for application traffic monitoring in virtualized and cloud environments. Your primary focus will be developing a distributed service oriented infrastructure, that will be easily extended and integrated in our visibility platform. You will be part of a self-paced agile team where you are encouraged to experiment and to pick the best tools for the job.

3) Agile QA Engineer Visibility

Job Location: Bucharest

Position level: junior – middle – senior

Position Overview & Responsibilities:

Ixia is looking for a QA Engineer to join our software testing team and to work mainly in Agile methodology. In this role, you will participate in the release processes by reviewing requirements for the upcoming features/capabilities to be tested. You will also have to contribute to automation by writing scripts (TCL) for features owned. Products and features you will be working with will be in the Visibility, Security and virtualization area, getting in contact with latest technologies in these fields.

Network protocols and TCP/IP knowledge is highly appreciated;
Ability to quickly learn and grasp new technologies;
Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment

4) C/Linux Software Engineer

Job Location: Bucharest

Position Overview & Responsibilities:

GTP Session Controller is part of the MobileStack solution. It provides specialized packet-level visibility capabilities tailored to provide mobile carriers the information needed to deliver optimized data to specialized QoS monitoring probes, so they can maintain quality-of-service (QoS) and monitor users’ quality-of-experience (QoE) to gain and retain subscribers who constantly demand more throughput at lower latencies.

We need to implement an optimized and scalable solution for the MobileStack based on NP (currently the implementation is FPGA based). The solution will be developed in C++ and it will be a redesign from scratch that will leverage NP packet processing capabilities.
